Thanks @DAPpower ,
I'll take a look at it, although I'm the kind of person who enjoys the gadget little by little, discovering how it works and how it interacts with the rest of the gadget family. For now, I appreciate an immediate improvement compared to my other DAPs, which I still hold in high regard.

Until the arrival of the DX340, I hadn't considered pairing a planar with a DAP. I had previously tried the LCD-X, which is easier to drive, with the DX160, but it didn’t convince me. However, I was testing it with the headphones I have, and I was really pleased and surprised by how well it performs with the 3.5mm output, proving that the amplification with the AMP15 is excellent, in my opinion. So, it looks like I'll have to invest in a good 4.4mm cable.
Cheers!!

I'm loving the DX340. Speaking of planar, I paired it with the DCA Noire X and feel like it's driven to its potential. Great pairing! The DX340/Noire X combo is not my primary rig. Stunning synergy even without DC mode.

Question.... Does anyone use Pandora Music on the DX340? I have it installed but it does not seem to be able to access the wifi. I have no issue with the M15S but I had the same issue when I had the N6iii. I like Pandora for casual listening and to discover new music. They have really good algorithms.

Selling out so fast is a great problem for Ibasso to have :) Bloom has stock for now.

I’m not having so much luck with my DX340 lately. Amp16 had to get sent back for replacement. That replacement should ship tomorrow. However, was just listing today and all of a sudden I’m not sure what happened but my DAP stopped working. I can’t power it on/off. I plug it into the USB power outlet that came with it and it just flashes “iBasso Audio” on the screen for like 30 seconds, then stops for a few seconds before repeats the same loop…

Just for clarification, I (still) have not done any optimization to it, the unit was running stock FW and software. I was just listening then it stopped. When I checked about 10 minutes before it stopped, it was still at like 60% charge, too.

Kind of at a loss.

Not from the amp card section? The entire back of the unit?

Hold power button for like 30 sec. That will reset it and it should boot. Since you are using AMP16 you had to upgrade FW from earlier version. If you did OTA flash it instead. I flashed v1.02 and have had no issues even with tweaks etc. Only issue is charging using usb c to usb c one which I know how to work around until fix is found. I do not know why there are issues with OTA updates but there are so I NEVER recommend doing them that way, only flash fresh.

Battery connector held onto board with clip that is screwed down, so not likely the cause of issue. If you have noise when you shake unit it could be loose. To remove battery you have to have 2 different torx bits and small phillips bit. Remove amp card. Remove that screwed down SS piece in upper left, note the screws are not same length. Then you have to remove 2 phillips screws in very back of AMP section for back cover to come off. You should then be able to slide cover towards amp section and off. Note the WIFI antenna is attached to it so be careful.

Yeah, I tried and holding the power button for 30 seconds didn’t work. I’m currently on AMP15, since I had to send AMP16 back last week. So I’d been listening on AMP15 this whole time. Was fine until this afternoon, randomly. Have no idea why.

I don’t think I can even manually flash the FW since I can’t even get passed the on screen logo.

You can still flash the FW with QFIL (you have to shutdown the player, hold down the middle Play/Pause button and then plug in the USB to PC for EDL mode).
Here is mattclarke's guide.

Keep in mind, the firmware firehose image linked in the guide is for the second firmware, the latest is the third firmware.

This has latest FW IMG link. I now only use links to guides when posting so in future people will always get latest version and I don't have to remove and re add.

You can actually access partition manger with no battery installed. I have done it. DAP gets power from USB from PC. I suspect for whatever reason its trying to boot off older FW boot_a or boot_b which ever was not updated with OTA. To my knowledge OTA can only update the inactive boot where flash all can be updated. Unplug DAP with it powered off and let sit for a few mins. Then proceed with flash directions in guide. My used DAP arrived from seller doing just wipe and would not boot. Flash fixed it but at time did not have flash directions and didn't realize Ibasso upgraded to UFS so did not have settings right. Good news is once you have flashed you should not have any more problems and may even improve SQ if there was any part of old FW still remaining.
