AMP 16 has no LO.

If only I read the first post. Thanks! From my head I think I read somewhere early on that there's LO on amp16. 🤣

Interesting turn of events, USPS was super EARLY on getting my AMP16 here. Just got it installed and am letting it break-in a bit, while I prepare some lunch me and the kiddos.

Battery test(individual). Mix MP3, Flac, Spotify. AMP Gain High, Dac Gain Low. Volume 35%. IEM Nostalgia Audio Camelot. Wifi On, display on for about cca 30 minutes. 100%, drop to 18% in 7 hours.

OMG! The sound of the DX340 w/Amp16 on 'tube' mode is insanely good for a portable player. I'm listening via ISN EBC80 and it's so impressive I can't imagine turning this thing off! Fantastic job, IBasso!

I have the AMP16 here. So nice. I thought with some IEMs there would be hiss but I don't get any. Very open and 3D and the amp isn't even burned in. Very spacious and airy. That is for AB mode. For tube, the same thing. I have rapped on, knocked on the 340 and can't get any ringing etc, which I would expect and don't care, since it is normal for tubes. So for me, both modes are great to use. Wow is all I can say at this point.

The tube is connected by a ribbon cable to the board, so if needed, it looks easy to change the tubes, like it is easy to change out the battery. Cool!

These are tubes done really right. So 3D. Sweet mids and no loss of the higher frequencies and a resound natural integrated bass. Layering, everything is here.

Yikes! I just plugged in the 12 volt . . . . .Give Me A Break. . . . Profound!

Really sensitive question for the brand new AMP16 owners: is there a way to enable Line Out on the 2 ports from the software side? Just like for AMP15.
CC @Paul - iBasso
Also are the tubes still enabled on the line out or is the line out coming straight from the DAC just like in AMP14? A schematics would be of help.

Can I ask which IEMs you tested with that you thought you would get hissing and what amp gain you tried? I'll be getting my M16 tomorrow and will be trying with the Clara. I'm curious to see if there's less hissing with these

I am using the Klee. High gain, high gain for dac and 12 volt input. One set of IEMs I have are so sensitive, you don't have to plug them into anything and they hiss. lol No, I haven't tired them.

Had a bass note hit a while ago, and I startled. It was like a bomb went off in my head. lol the control depth and magnitude was awesome.
