Don't forget AMP17 which has my interest! I have had a DAP with those tubes and it was not great. AMP13 with 320 was better.I am still looking out for PB5…but the AMP15 still needs a LPSU before outputting to PB5 for max signal)
And when AMP16 comes out…with a power bank you’ll have maybe … maybe a mini PB5

Completely agreed with you, and I can attest to that by using my dedicatedly built Sigma 11. IMO, I wouldnt go for batteries packs or inferior LPSU either. The DX340 sounds so good with super gain AMP15!!! Not saying PB5 doesn't sound good. I will bet money it will sound better than AMP16. For me I can't run Wavelet with D16/PB5 unless I used LOW gain lower volume to prevent distortions which is why I bit the bullet and bought the DX340. Even without super gain my 340 is sounding better and better in just high gain as its burning in. Still have many hours to go.
There are plenty of LPSU designs, but Sigma 11 is one that topples most out there by designs. Therefore, IMO, I either go for it, or "null". Battery packs ? You can go for just about any External amp, you stacking it anyways
Key words for Sigma 11 is that
1/Minimal filterings, but huge Energies reservoirs
2/ Zero currents Limits
3/ audiophiles components
4/ Mirrored voltages that positive and negative will always be the same
5/ superior low noises and ripples
Cons: only DIY, Expensive as components pricing can be expensive

Just wait until OTA is available. It changes tuning which you may or may not like. IF you are using windows you should have no issue unzipping which gives another zip file and text file and copy to root of SD. TAke your SD card out and use the adapter and put right into your PC.I've tried to update the firmware with no luck - I don't seem to have the option to copy/paste the folder from my laptop to either the DX340 internal memory or SD card - any thoughts?!
I right click and choose copy...
But when I then go to the DX340 internal memory (or SD card), I don't have an option to paste - I've tried to drag the folder also with no luck.
I also tried downloading directly to the DX340 over WiFi, but the file goes straight to the download folder on the DAP, and when following the steps to update, it doesn't pick it up - I guess as the first folder needs to be unzipped?

To unzip it and for the DX340 to see it when you do manual update you have to find it in the files app in downloads or wherever you sent it, The readme will be next to it and on the bottom left/right of the zip file there is a box, check the file and on the top right of the page there are 3 dots those will then let you send or extract it to another place. send it to the the front directory where you see DCIM Downloads ect.
this will allow your DX340 to see the file and use it as the updater.
Once done you will be on 1.01.237 but I would recommend a full factory restore at this point as Paul has recommended as well
hope this helps

Updating now, thank you - it allowed me transfer to the SD card, but not directly with the DX340 connected to my PC. I was eager to do this ASAP as I've had trouble with charging.

Neither worked! But now with the SD card ejected and connected to my laptop, it allowed me to transfer - thanks again @mattclarke18
Do it in recovery mode - Keep top button held and then hit restart or with DAP powered off hold top button while holding it plug usb into PC and keep holding until recovery menu comes up. Do Wipe data option 3 times.I downloaded it direct from the DX340 as well

Charging issue is charger. Had same problem and then realized stupid me was using my phone charger not the one I use for DAPs. DX340 is very picky about chargers it appears. Using this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2MLRF93?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1Updating now, thank you - it allowed me transfer to the SD card, but not directly with the DX340 connected to my PC. Ok, so now it's hanging on the upgrade - should I force restart?! It's about 10 mins now on this screen.

No. Give it more time. I hope its not messed up. I have the IMG FW but there is an issue with it which I am trying to fix. IF you force restart it you could render it to a paper weight until I can get IMG FW working or get new file from Paul.Ok, so now it's hanging on the upgrade - should I force restart?! By the way I heard back from Neutron support. DX340 is compatible and should work without issue. I am using it and sounds great no issues.

Yes indeed. Paul recommended a full reset and provided instructions to do this - I did that on Wednesday, and as yet can't comment on the charging issue as work/life got in the way, so it has not yet needed another charge - I did however encounter the switch issue again, this time it worked going from Android to Mango, but hung on the reverse and I had to force restart.
Just forced a restart again and has rebooted, and now in the process of yet again doing a media scan... a great DAP for sure, but I'm spending more time than I would like troubleshooting.
Do the wipe in recovery mode!!! IT does a complete job vs in system menu. Do it 3 times for good measure. That is the 1st thing I did when I got mine.Yes indeed.
