You can say that again! Everyday its something new like an unmedicated mental case is running things. Maybe Monday or next day will be different??
This is what happens, when many people, not just in the US, are not educated about Narcissistic Personality Disorder & Trump is the Malignant type, the most dangerous & chaotic kind.
There are so many examples, around the world, of people, that get into power, with N.P.D. by manipulation of the voters. What amazes me, is even if you have never heard of N.P.D. how brainwashed people are, to follow, people, that are clearly not right, mentally, although it is classed as a Personality Disorder. From my personal experience ( & I have a lot of! ) I’d say these people are physically wired wrong.
Don’t want to derail a thread about politics & personalities, but just highlighting, the reasons why this is happening, because his actions, affect the whole world & it won’t just be with tariffs !

I don't know if this can help you, but I had the same problem: the battery was charging. I could see the charge rate when I put the charger in place. But it was impossible to start the DX340: in fact, the dial didn't go in completely. I tried for an hour and it worked again, but I didn't know how.
There is a charging bug. Bloom is aware of it and working with Ibasso on it. I never had any issues with 320,180,260. Hold button for 30secs to reset DAP, this is not a factory reset so no data loss. Plug into USB C to USB A and slow charge it. My solution is just to use battery bypass mode but must plug into 36 watt port with Dap power off for it to work right every time.

At first I was confused why I can't change amp gain using AMP16. After an email with Paul, he informed me that:
AMP15 - with DC-in 12V plugged in, amp gain can still be switched between low, mid, high
AMP16 - with DC-in 12V plugged in, amp gain will be locked, so be careful with the sudden increase in volume!

Tariffs will likely be on their next shipment import from China/when they run out of their current stock. If you were charged $1699 that is all you will pay.
@Sonywalkmanuser I totally agree which is why Neutron is what I use. What people use depends on their preferences.
Not sure if daps would be on the newly announced tariff exemption list. Let’s hope it does.

Looks like the tariffs might get lifted now on devices like this. What a sh-t show. I think we don’t get hit here in the 51st state, but who really knows.
Now we don't have to worry about tariffs. Trump is moving fast.

"But other consumer tech products, like computer accessories, earbuds, gaming consoles, and Li-Ion batteries are excluded from the initial exemption and would remain subject to tariffs. "
So what does a DAP fall under or Amp card?? Looks like IEMs will be tariffed. Bloom did tell me that they have been paying the 1st tax that he put on China before the latest tax on us. Better safe than sorry. Buy what you want now to prepare for the worst especially for a hobby as I sit here with over $10k in IEMs to try out. Time to get all my tips out and have some fun.
Sadly, nothing we carry at Bloom including DAPs, DAC/amps, IEMs, or anything from iBasso is exempt. Just paid a 125% tariff bill on an iBasso shipment yesterday (shipped before the China tariff increase announcement early last week but arrived in the US after, so still subject to it). Will be taking a huge loss on those products, but if we refused the package, it likely would have been destroyed en route back to China.
Until the tariff situation is worked out, we aren't able to order more products from China for any brand. We cannot double or triple the prices of these products. That would be absurd. We'll simply sell out of what we have at their current prices and then wait until this whole thing blows over.

Really bad situation for US audiophiles. No outright winners in this tariff wars, everyone will suffer. Maybe IBasso can consider opening a subsidiary company and do a boutique “assembly” factory in lower tariff(10%) country like Singapore and ship these audio products to the US. This might work.
The existing China factory can still produce most parts of the unfinished dap, with the singapore factory being the last mile production/integration of the unfinished dap, maybe the part of gluing the screen into the dap itself, firmware flashing, testing and quality control before packaging the dap into the box. “Made in Singapore, with parts sourced globally.“ this can also work for other products like IEMs and etc too. This would increase overall production cost abit, as Singapore is a more expensive place for businesses but it’s still better than paying for exorbitant tariffs.
