DX320MAX Ti The musical event worth the wait. ROHM X 4. !! NEW Firmware: 2.03 !!

I would say the 320Max has better dynamic as well as staging than the X perhaps very slightly warmer but I wouldn’t call it that either. It is more like a result of a much beefier build technically which improve the dynamic and output power to provide a more capable harmonic contents as much as transient responses. It is more noticeable with Ultimate mode rather than regular.

The Max has no removable module and can’t enjoy Korg tubes unless until the new amp is released

IMO, the 320M is the best portable player I have had to date, that can drive my 800S and Z1R very well. The best of it is to listen to the Max at the lowest volume as there are virtually no channel Imbalances. No staging oddities and so on

i recently replaced the battery with a brand new one. i wanted to do a few complete cycles before writing. unfortunately new battery didn’t solve the drain. i think i will send the unit back for a proper repair.

too bad i dont have any other DAPs.

Oh dang. That's too bad. I hope mine works but sounds like its likely going to need to be looked at too. Mine doesnt even turn on now even after charging, and disconnecting/reconnecting the battery several times. I'll have to wait until I get a new battery delivered from iBasso.

Is it an issue with the new firmware or are those faulty dap units? Since its very unlikely the batteries could be dead after such short period of time after the release.

I tried asking in another thread but perhaps I’ll get better luck here. Would someone kindly provide me some links where I can buy these replacement batteries? I tried googling and couldn’t seem to find them specifically for 320m. Or would generic batteries suffice and if so, what can or should I get? Thank you in advance

You would have to email Paul and get it from ibasso. It is a large digital battery and 4 analog batteries a pack.

didnt you already have a battery change at ibasso ? infact, i was going to ask you the result of the service they did for you. i am going to send mine too but i’m not sure if it’ll come back resolved.
I’m the sort who likes to have spares for things that matter. I had a local dealer friend who helped to facilitate the battery change. I received my unit for about a week and didn’t use it till now, battery power remained full. For all intents and purposes, the issue should be rectified. Will update if I discover anything unusual.

mind you thou, despite being quite long, these batteries have a shelf life. i’d personally order one when i knew i’d make the change. plus, batteries have 90day warranty afaik from Paul. my 2c…

Just to put this in one post for someone else in the future. Here is the combination that allows you to charge off USB-C 100% for both digital (usb-c) and analog (12v) has worked well for me after going through the thread.
