Thats cool. I really like mine, no surprises so far. Hey I see you have the SP3000. I would be interested in your thoughts on a comparison...ya I know there is a pretty big price difference, still like to hear your thoughts though.

I got my DX260 Yesterday, and I started debloating following the link here. So far, it's Still working fine with the issue. Now, I did not remove everything; I am still testing.

I have disabled these settings, and the Player continues to work.
Play music through Tidal. Offline
Medium Gain
Digital Filter D4
FIR 4x
Location Disable.
Using JM XTC 2.5 Headphones.

Disable the process below, and the player still works fine.

There was similar list to disable or uninstall for sony Wm1am2. I had done. It was very helpful. I can try for Dx260

I have not tried 4.4 output of Dx260 yet since it is still busy with burn-in process. However, 3.5 mm output of Dx260 is way ahead of Wm1am2. Now, I am selling Wm1am2.

I listened to Child In Time song several times with my IEMs and Celestee.

I heard kind of distortion after 3 and 9 minutes. It is coming from right side. Could it be seperation problem, a special instrument or just part of song?

Not saying there isnt an issue, but more than likely its something that was always there and you just never noticed. When ever I buy some new gear I go into hyper sensitive analytical listening mode. I really like the DX260, its getting better with burn in and I am mostly listening to some cheap cheezy headphones.

I just ordered some Aune AR5000 headphone for the DX260. My beautiful leather case from Kiev is going to be delayed. It made it out of a war torn country only to arrive in Canada land with a postal strike What...hopefully some disgruntled postal worker doesnt go full on postal on me case lol

A note of appreciation. Have the DX260 for six days now, 100+ hours burn-in. Use DAPs mainly while walking, public transport, never indoors. Listen with Fiio FH19 balanced, SE846 unbalanced. Not an audiophile, so element of novelty in my xp of this DAP. Usually use Sony ZX series, from 1 through to 707 (uncapped) at present, so more used to the intimacy of the Sony sound. Having previously tried both Hiby and Fiio DAPs, I was already aware of the difference between the Chinese DAPs and Sony's: the degree to which the former are geared towards streaming on a continuing basis - where the sound is more forward, so as to hold the attention of a listener preoccupied with other matters - while the reticence of the Sony requires one to actively listen to the music. That said, the DX260 surprised me with the clarity of its sound, which does reward active attention. One example: Agnes Mellon, soloist in Nicolas Clerambault's Leandre et Hero: could hear even the tiny flutters in her cords that add such a delicate colour to her voice. A stunning experience. Haven't seen any reference here to the Fiio IEMs, but to my relatively innocent ears they match the DX260 very well, though the Shure buds are really too steady to carry the DAP (dislike them with a positive wire, too bright).

Not all Chinese DAPs have the same sound signature ... different company adopts different approach (some adopts different tuning for different product lines).

Hi, I have a wm1am2 too, I really hate the slow response, and significantly lack of power when I trying to use some headphones, do you think dx260 will be a good "upgrade" from it?

I know 260 is cheaper but sound is not defined by price...

I do try dx320 before (with default AMP), the sound stage is definitely wider than 1A but I feel dx320 loss some warm vibe which I like on 1A, and I try fiio M23 too, but it sounds so boring...

how do you feel between 1AM2 and dx260?

and when you use dx260 as a DAC on Windows PC, is there any lagging issue?

Dx260 is far better than 1AM2.

iBasso DX 260 + Spiral Ear SE5 Nebula. Love this combo to the point I've ordered and just recently received their flagship SE6 Nebula. Mind blown!
I've slightly modified the aftermarket DX 260 case and fixed a pouch holder, so that it can be attached to a belt, etc. when on the go. Now it's very handy and tactical.

I use DX260 mostly with LO with XD05 Pro and it sounds pretty good. Treble can still be too bright sometimes but improving after several hundreds hours of usage. I like using DX260 as DAC only as it is a very clean and detail source with little coloration then I can tune the sound profile with other downstream components.

I recently bought MH02 with Mullard tubes and it also pairs with DX260 pretty well.
