Buy direct from ibasso will be only $899+$22 (express DHL shipping) = $921.00
(I don’t know if North Americans have to pay tax too?).

$899 sound to be about right plus shipping and duty, mine was all in HKD for the 4 plus some other gear. He will be having to cover ebay and paypal fees too.

I didn't think about Paypal and Ebay Fees. So this price isn't that bad. I always post at a premium on Ebay for this reason.

It's not exactly a markup, as in to make a lot of profit. It's probably to basically break even if it's an individual seller. As it's around 12% or so in fees when selling on eBay.

But now that I've been seeing the $899 price, that's pretty awesome - think I'm going to snag one soon after it becomes available through US (if I can wait that long..).

Think I'll sell my X5-III to a co-worker for $100 or something. Won't need it anymore really.. haha
