i have the Fiio, i find it very stiff and use a lot of force to insert and remove the connector. I need a spacer too for my sony cable pentaconn 4.4mm plug.

I use the Triton Audio Cable that David did it with silver cable which is soft but it’s little more money. However, I love its SQ though.

The Fiio Music App works insanely flawlessly good for controling audio playback of DX220 from a smartphone !

Next Level: Controling TIDAL playback of DX220 from a smarpthone. Is it possible?

This would turn my frown upside down as it regards the limitations of BT receive. Controlling TIDAL remotely would be a perfectly acceptable workaround.

No, you don't transfer music over Blutooth in Fiio Link. You just control the playback of the music on the DX220's storage. So there isn't any loss of quality.

Great news Paul - can you provide the listing of what is included in this update when you have a chance?

Or is this it? https://www.head-fi.org/threads/dx2...ilable-and-dc01.898388/page-538#post-15208387

Cheers,
Tim

P.S. - Never mind - I answered my own question - that post is the update info which is also included in the readme.txt file as well.

Improvements with this firmware:

1. Added Output Level option for AMP9. Now, high or low output for AMP9 can be chosen under system settings/ audio settings. (Android OS)
2. Improved the system response speed. (Android OS)
3. Added Resolution Setting. Now, 720P or 1080P can be chosen under system settings/ display. (Android OS)
4. Added the auto adaption mode for Bluetooth output. Now when playing high resolution music on the Mango player APP with Bluetooth output, the bit depth and sample rate will be lowered to something that the Bluetooth protocol can work with. (Android OS)
5. Rectified the bug that when EQ is on, 32bit/384kHz music would stutter. (Android OS)
6. Rectified the bug that the system would respond slowly when opening a picture album. (Android OS)
7. Rectified the bug that Mango Player APP didn't recognize music file when the file name suffix contained uppercase letters. (Android OS)
8. Rectified the bug that Mango Player APP's Now Playing view had an invalid sorting function. (Android OS)
9. Rectified the bug that unexpected gaps happened between tracks when playing cue format.
10. Now play control buttons support Bluetooth output. (Android OS)
11. Artist view now uses the Album Artist tag instead of Artist tag. (Mango OS)
12. Added current playing indicator to the Directory view. £¨Mango OS)

I just try to connect DX220 to my pc as DAC on mango. But there are many static noise when there is music playing.
Anyone encounter the same problem ? :frowning2:

Try another USB cable, i had this problem before.
Also another USB port can maybe help.
