Inside Mango there are 7 digital filters, but honestly I can't distinguish them from one another as there is little difference. does anyone know the differences and which filter is best used? Thank you.
I'm using the Fidelizer iBasso Purist ROM with the update for adding Google Playstore and I'm perfectly fine, waiting for Amp8. really good product this Ibasso DX220, I'm glad I bought it. Thank you for any advice you have given me.

I would agree. You have to have good ears to hear differences. I did read a review which stated 1 and 7 provided the most impactful sound. So I have stuck it on 7 and not going to fiddle much more

It depends on your gears, and amp modules . But it isn’t easy to observe the differences, for sure

I am trying to get a hold of one our SW engineers but it is late here. It should work unless somehow the signal isn't good or the download gets corrupted. Have you tried changing the WiFi setting?

Don’t worry I reverted to using local update and it worked as usual but since I got the DX220 online update seemed to work flawlessly, never had issues with WiFi so far...

Mango OS would be ideal in SQ. However I dont like Mango UI but prefer Neutron UI more so I take this as only benefit.

I don’t think the music player selected does make the difference some claim,although obviously some music players do facilitate sophisticated tweaks. I think choice of music player is more to do with the UI,stability. I use Mango OS and in my experience it’s the best way to hear this dap. If I need android,say to allow use of a Bluetooth remote or to embed a lyric app,then I tend to use Hiby Music. Personal preference only there is no science to that,but I would still say a pure Mango OS gives the best SQ.

I am testing this now, but only seem to get DSD64.

It spends a lot of resources to process PCM into DSD. Mainly the DSP algorithms, so I don’t think you can ask for more than this.
