I am playing streaming with case and charging.it is so hot , it is ok ?

I would probably remove the case and put it on a heat conductive surface, to keep the heat down a bit if it was me. Especially if charging and streaming at the same time.

I'm sure its been tested to use like that and it won't damage it, but the battery won't like being inside an excessively hot enclosure long-term.

like steveoliver said,
Well it will be wise to remove the case if you want to enjoy and also charge...

If you are charging a discharged battery heat will be produced. If your battery is already charged then there won't be much heat produced. When playing music there will be some heat produced and the higher the resolution the more heat. If the DX feels warm to hot and you have the case on, it is best to take the case off. There is a lot going on in the DX220 so it is always good to consider what will keep the dap at a good temperature.

Yes. And this seems to be a problem on the Tidal’s software side. It’s look like Tidal’s software uses android core in offline.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. Don't seem to have the same issue when using quboz.

I ordered an Amp 8 today, how do I go about getting the new style replacement back plate to match the DX220?
You should ask a dealer or Paul I think. In my country sellers of ibasso already have them.

its in the APK VERSION of tidal. installed VERSION 2.11.4.889.11 from APK Pure, (based on previous posts), then turned off auto update. since then, it decodes to the MQA sample rate.

Anyone else finding the Bluetooth to be weak? I usually run with an iPhone attached to a running belt, and that works fine. But, the iPhone battery was low, so I tried the DX220 this evening. It kept cutting out, so I had to hold it. But, even when held at chest height it would cut out if I moved my head to one side. IEMs are Bose SoundSport.

Great tip - thanks!

But has anybody else noticed that Redbook CD doesn't sound quite as good on the 2.11.4.889 version? That version appears to be up-sampling 44 kHz PCM to some weird rate (like 172 kHz).
