Honestly., I do not understand all the negativities about the Dx220 UI and speed. It never bothered me , not even the dx200

I use Spotify so it matters a bit to me. With that being said when I had the DX200/Ti I don’t really recall the DAP being slow.

Yup done a factory reset. Never sleep option still doesn’t appear.

I would suggest to download the firmware, reload it, and factory reset it again.

I noticed that default set Digital Filter defers from firmware to firmware.
The latest May update sets the Digital Filter at 4 whereas the previous version set it at 1.
I'm curious which Filter you guys are set to for electronic / jazz music genres.

Depends on your preference
1. Fast Linear = clearer treble
2 Slow Linear = thicker bass
3. Fast minimum = 50% effect of Fast linear
4. Slow minimum = 50% effect of slow linear
5. Apodizing = Faat minimum + slow minimum
6. Fast Hybrid = Fast linear + Slow minimum
(Actually, I barely differentiate these 2)
7. Brick wall = bass decay present longer. Vocal sound like vocalist sings near a wall.

It has pre installed some film protection. But Paul said it's not intended for end user, just to protect while in shipment.

Yes it has preinstalled plastic. Keep it on if you prefer the 'kicked around a car park look'

Two days ago I’ve managed to install add-on by Lurker. The sound has changed a little bit in android mode. I’ve listened hiby player and usb player pro. And one interesting fact, 4 hours of continuous listening of 24bit mqa and player was warm but not hot.

I'm also in latest firmware and in Mango OS under power management I don't have the "NEVER" option on the "Backlight Off"
Although I have NEVER option in sleep timer and in Auto Power Off

Set the Language to English US and see if anything changes.
