Then first try my add-on to find out whether things become better or not. There are things that may help: it increases overall performance, and prevents Android to go to idle state during playback... I can't say for sure because I don't use on-line music services. They don't work in Russia officially, all in all.

I can't support the stock firmware anyway.

Overall performance where? In Android System or in Mango player or in Mango System?
Should I change any settings anywhere or just install your addon and it will be less laggish?

Overall means overall: higher CPU, RAM, GPU frequencies when interactive. But don't expect a miracle to happen.

I rather enjoy top of the line sound performances than Snappy UI....I can have a smartphones doing that...or an IPad...LOL!

No. Then the overwhelming performance would detract your focus from the music

1st the music
2nd the usability
3rd the features
4th the speed
...

This is why nobody complains on DX220 thickness...

About the quote above, maybe I'm alone but, as I am an Apple iOS fanboy (currently at age 53) and just hate Android, Mango OS was a gift from the skies - although I admit I'll appreciate some of the Android "music related" features at some time.

That is one good point I never thought of. For those who are not familiar with Android OS, Mango OS is an easy way out
