why do you need the usb reader option when in Mango if it works in Android?

The pure Mango is supposed to be a pure music mode so I don't think anything will work with it as far as a reader. And why need it when you have Android, as pointed out above and I prefer to use a reader anyway. It is faster and simple to use.

Why? For adding new music without getting out sdcard from a unit and using external reader. I wouldn't ask If didn't see an option in settings tab.

So let meask this - why adding a setting that does not work?

I would ask iBasso. I always use an external reader for speed.

I am asking iBasso here and I added an issue on DX200 bug topic, just wanted to confirm i'm not the only one. I choose convenience over speed, besides I'm using internal DX200 memory as well.

Using android mode only for streaming services.

I agree that the option shouldn't be there in Mango if it doesn't work... But if in Android mode you don't need to use any external reader to transfer files to your SD card. You just transfer them you your SD card.

I got mine DX200 2 days ago. Overall i am quite happy with it except 2 problems and I am on latest FW

1) Phantom touch on my DAP - resolved by cleaning the screen (I Hope)
2) Some folder tracks are not in order...

Has anyone got the track order sorted?

Help~

I'm not able to update firmware, can anyone please advise detailed step?

What I did is below:
1) Downloaded this <DX200FW-2.1.94-OTA2.zip> from iBasso website
2) Tried to unzip it at windows 10 laptop but failed, see below error msg.

3) I dont bother, then copy the whole original zip file to ibasso SD card root folder.
4) Then go to Setting -> System Update -> Local Update -> saw the zip file and click on it.....
5) iBasso screen showing "This action can not be interrupted when you are updating, please backup your data, bottom got <Cancel> and <Update> buttons.
6) clicked on <Update> button.
7) Showed error message "Verifying failed, please check you package."

There's 2 unzip process u need to do.

1) Unzip 1 - to get a zip file and a readme file
2) Unzip 2 - unzip the zip file from Unzip 1
3) copy the final file to sd card

Thanks for your reply, but the problem is I can't even complete the unzip 1 step, as you can see from the attached screenshot, may I know any special unzip software need to use to unzip the file? I even copied the zip file to Samsung galaxy tab tried to unzip there but also failed :frowning2:

And is iBasso planning on making a DAP to challenge the FiiO X5 III as far as price range?

Regards.

I personally have X5 III and V20 supercedes it by a good margin ..

I dont think around that range (like ibasso dx80 ) anything can beat the flagship experience punched with TOTL audio experience of V20 ..

e.g. Onkyo Granbeat uses only 2 outta 4 DACs in V20 and touts that as 'reference audio' for smartphones ....

V20 changed my precedence of DAP over smartphone ..
:grinning::grinning::grinning::grinning::grinning:
Thanks for reading
