Yes, they are my favorite IEMS ever. Absolutely love them.
@jamato8 I have both, dx200 and 1z. I think they are different sounding players. I enjoy them both, but the 1z is definitely a little warmer, has a bit more bass presence. I never hear it sounding digital at all. The DX200 sounds like it has more air, but it could be due to the warmth. I definitely prefer the 1z, but with that being said, I'd never rec the 1z over the DX200. Primarily due to the obscene price. If money doesn't matter, and you prefer a warmer signature, then the 1z would be a good choice. It's definitely not worth 2k more. I need more time to do some head to head comps now that they are both fully burnt in. I'll post more when I can. UI, the DX200 is snappier. The 1z does have some lag, not bothersome, but noticeable (as I'm sure you are aware). I can't offer more of an opinion at this time.
I own both and the WM1Z has a slightly warmer tonality than the DX200. When you compare carefully side by side, the differences are not as huge as what my brain would like me to think. The WM1Z has less air between instruments as they sound overall smoother and thicker. There is absolutely no digital grain in my opinion on the WM1Z. Where the WM1Z has the edge, to my tastes, over the DX200, and almost every other DAP, is the layering depth wise. It makes the music incredibly fleshed out. This is all balanced but I only use iems.
How many hours on the DX200 and 1Z? I assume this is in balanced mode? And, thank you for your input.
