nice.Maybe Friday but I bet there will be a few demoing it.
Ofc all of you talking about 512/256gb of internal storage in a 'later dx200 'pro' version' dont consider how ibasso would be judged by those who bought 'standard' 64gb version earlier. Do you want to see how 'poor simpletons' riding in the 'hype train' will provide primary ROI to iBasso, therefore to give an opportunity to create a better version of their totl product? Don't you even understand how this situation could damage their reputation? Moreso do you really believe that ibasso cant implement 256gb to dx200 right now? I think it's easy for them, but they decided not to do so, guided by decisions we hardly will ever discover. Honestly, IDK why 64gb, its really 2013-2014's level... But I dont want to find out that after 6 month from my purchase ibasso will produce new 512gb version that will cost just 100$ more. It'll be ridiculous...
Paul, normally type C connector is used in USB version 3, how is that apply in USB2?
doesn't he mean support both 2.0 and 3.0?
USB-C refers to the port, USB 2.0,3.0,3.1 refers to the supported speeds/capabilities. So you can have a USB-C connector only supporting USB 2.0 protocol as far as I understand.
As an example the 4K LG Ultrafine display has 4 USB-C connectors but only one of them is a USB 3.1 compliant port the other 3 are USB 2.0 ports
There ain't such thing as USB-C, AFAIK. It is USB 2.0/3.0 with TYPE-C connector. It's bloody confusing and horrendously named. Aren't the people making those things supposed to be smart?
Yes you are totally right, the connectors are type-a, type-b and type-c but very often and very confusingly are named usb-a,usb-b and usb-c because they are connectors used for the USB protocols. The answer is the same though that iBasso might be using the Type-C connector but only delivering USB 2.0 capabilities through it.
