They work fine, I used the ring on the ALO Litz 4.4mmHmm, interesting that the CA02 and DX amps don't work perfectly together.

They work fine, the only issue sometimes is it gets caught on the lower lip of case opening. I don't use spacer.Hmm, interesting that the CA02 and DX amps don't work perfectly together.

Does anyone know of a rubber spacer that can stay semi-permanently on the 4.4mm plug? I store my headphones at the end of each workday and unplug from the DX200, and have already lost one of the spacer rings. Something semi-permanent on the plug would be awesome. Or are there any specific plugs that are better than others? Currently using Sony cable.
I haven't tried it, but thinking one of these self-adhesive hole reinforcements (for 3-hole puncher sheets) should work, and you can layer them.

Thanks, this is what Kristy suggested. I will give this a try.

“Arming” my dx200 for amp4 and 8?
This “thing” is so expensive because buying through a third party dealer in Japan. It costs US $100 whereas the ibasso CA02 is only $15.00...

Yep, this. That's the only issue I've had and it's such that it either seats completely or not at all. Once it's in there though, it's in.

There is nothing expensive in this hobby. it is only satisfaction. I also use Wagnus Moonphase adapter just because I like their cables product.

How can I use lurker firmware on windows 10 as windows doesnt find the driver when inspect the x64 folder
I had the Amp1 for a long time and enjoyed it, then I got the Amp5. The Amp5 was an amazing upgrade, it really raised the DX200 to another level.
Might just need to get used to the sound signature. There's a lot of air and the soundstage is definitely bigger. Snares and high hats are crisper. However, Phantoms are super neutral and with the neutral analytical sounds of AMP1, I don't "feel" the music as much.

Nice adapter, 2.5mm to 4.4mm? May I ask what brand is that and if you find any coloration or degradation? The cable that you attach looks beautiful.
My AMP4 is now having issues with the left channel cutting out when I use the adapter. I have to twist and pull it out slightly for it to work properly...
My friend, I will be glad to buy the AMP4 from you to take this problem away. haha

I lost all the plastic spacers in a week time. So finally I followed Whitigir's method and fixed it permanently.Does anyone know of a rubber spacer that can stay semi-permanently on the 4.4mm plug? After this I am very happy listener ...lol

Hi Lurker,
Just to let u know after yr latest firmware upgrade , ii still have this static 'crack' sound when I'm stopped the music.
I am using the Hibi player due to the reason it can play album by album without stopping.

Nice adapter, 2.5mm to 4.4mm? May I ask what brand is that and if you find any coloration or degradation? The cable that you attach looks beautiful.

The brand is Musashino . Specs (translated from japanese specs) as follows :
yProduct features ◆ 4.4 mm 5 pole balanced female plug → 2.5 mm 4 pole Balance L cable plug is a cable to convert. ◆ 4.4 mm 5 pole balanced female plug adopts high-performance plug "Pentaconn" made by Nippon. ※ ● "Pentaconn" is a registered trademark of Nippon Co., Ltd. ◆ In order to demonstrate the performance of each DAP without wishing, we adopted OFC with silver coating on the wire. ※ ★ Detailed description: Newsbridgeo
u can find out more details over here at amazon : https://www.amazon.com/musashino-LA...srs=17460091011&ie=UTF8&qid=1527637515&sr=8-2 , but its expensive.
I got this from a reseller in China, cost around 850CNY, it should cost less if you buy it directly from Japan. After listening to it for less than a day, I do not feel any coloration or degration (I have the ibasso CA02), though I need to try out more after more "burn in"? The cable I am using is EA Leonidas Black Edition
I saw someone selling on hifi forum over at https://www.head-fi.org/threads/fs-musashino-label-2-5mm-to-4-4mm-conversion-cable-brand-new.880620/ .
