I'm waiting for a feedback from testers, who was affected by famous "pops and cracks" problem with online music services, which, reportedly, was solved in 2.8.198L1. This is what I can't test myself. So, anyone who experienced that problem before, and for whom 2.8.198L1 works good, may PM me to join the test and speed up the release.
Actually, I was reported by a tester that 2.9.209 has fixed it!Paul - is this really impossible to fix?
Yes, I can do only a little, because I have no full source code of the firmware (sic!). The "fix" in 2.8.198L1 was use of one library from older firmware build. But not in 2.9.209L0. Please try it yourself!I know you don't typically alter the basic functionality of the Ibasso firmware but curious if this has been fixed in your custom 2.9 firmware?
iBasso & Lurker0: You both form an excellent combination. Let's hope this can continue for many and many years!!2.9.209L0 is ready to download! Enjoy the changes made by iBasso, along with my usual modifications
Managed to buy one of the last unit of AMP4.
Sounds like a great amp.

As if they had one left this whole time! Jesus Lousies!Unfortunately, the AMP4 that Jason bought was the very last unit. We have none left, except our demo unit. We might decide to let it go soon. Any announcement will be made on our FB page @zeppelinandco
As a proud new owner of a slightly used DX200, I can say that the DX150 is very much worth looking into. I have only heard the AMP1 (still waiting for my balanced cables to try AMP3 and AMP4s) and while it is technically superior to my old DAP (Hibino R10, which is basically a slightly better DX100), I find that I enjoy the R10 sound signature much more. They say that the DX150 is closer to DX100 in sound. If you really want to get the most out of the DX200, be prepared to invest a little more for AMP module.
Of course, everyone has a preference and you could definitely still prefer the DX200 AMP1 sound as it is.
*Will burn in my unit and amps some more before sharing impressions.
