it's on the 1st page.

From First Page:

Features:

1. Dual micro SDXC card slots
2. USB C

Some more details of the DX200:

1. RK3368 CPU (the latest)
2. 2GB LPDDR
3. The DAC chip is the ES9028pro
4. Dual micro SD card slots (not enough room to use 2 SD cards and the price of micro cards is falling fast).
5. WIFI
6. Blue Tooth

That isn't much.  Do we even know how much output amp power it has?  Balance out?  Line out? Digital out?  DSD formats?

The basic information is enough. The rest you will decide when demo unit comes to your local shop and you go test it with your ear yourself. I dont think you should care on number too much. Just wait and trust your ear once demo unit is available for testing comfortably.

Do you really think it is enough?

It is really lacking information from the consumer's point of view.

It's a start, But I'd like more info as well.

Yes I second what is said above, if you want a beta tester, conveniently located in China and that can compare it to the Lotoo Paw Gold and Sony WM1Z, as well as the Mojo, don't hesitate to send me a test unit :D

There are a couple of regular members always in this thread who have gone mysteriously quite the last few weeks. Uncle H20 has (suspicions / assumptions) they may have test units.

But keep in mind it's just a H20Fidelity crazy observation.

The ES9038 has not been released. The specifications have been but not the chip. The ES9028 is what we are using and it does an excellent job.

I read on another forum that the chip is available. $50 each, but the minimum order is 2.
The ES9028 is probably the best solution for stereo implementations. The ES9038 is essentially eight 9028s in parallel, and really only makes sense for 8-channel solutions.
The ES9038 can be used in stereo and mono, but the amount of current means more complexity is required in the I/V stage to deal with it. It can be done, but is not going to be an inexpensive solution.

^ No, they are all 8 channel, the ES9028 is essentially the same dac architecture as the older ES9018, both are 8 channel, both same dynamic range and THD+N specs, but the newer model has features for easier implementation and flexibility, so it should still sound better than the previous model in any given setup even though they have the same technical spec.

The ES9038 is the flagship, still 8 channel, still very samey architecture, but with better DNR and THD+N specs. Ayre and Oppo have used this chip in their upcoming products.

True, I wish the ES9038 is available for the DX200. I heard it is a much better DAC than the 9028 pro and many of the totl desktop DAC coming out in 2017 will use the 9038. Apparently they acquired Wolfson and some of their engineers and put heavy R&D into the 9038 with refined filters and other features. In 2017, the battle in DAC is going to be between ES9038 and AKM4970.

I appreciate your enthusiasm. But to be accurate, it's Cirrus Logic who acquired Wolfson and AKM's flagship is AKM4497, for the battle of flagships with ES9038.

For a DAP, I think ES9028 is enough at this present moment, assuming it is a better DAC and easier to implement than ES9018.
Therefore imho I think Ibasso made the right move. They have more time to work on an optimal implementation from their experience with ES9018 for portable use, which may not be sure with the new flagship ES9038 monster.

Well, time is passing by so slowly..

The ES9028 Pro or 9038 are much more than 4 dollars. I wish they were 4 dollars. The cost in quantity of a few 1000 is over 7 times 4 dollars for each chip.
