A dock and remote for a module with a balanced line out would be nice additions too, @Paul - iBasso. Something that is definitely worth a consideration, imho.

Agree, especially for a dockA dock and remote for a module with a balanced line out would be nice additions too, @Paul - iBasso. Something that is definitely worth a consideration, imho.

A dock would be great, mainly because I use the DX200 as a USB DAC, then Line Out to my Liquid Carbon amp.

A question that probably has been already answered. I have a large number of songs that do not display album art when played on the DX200. These same songs when played show album art on MediaMonkey (PC), PonoPlayer and my S7 edge with no problem at all. How is album art managed at the DX200?

I want to get a balanced analog Line Out from the DX200 to my home headphone amp (Oppo HA-1) with 2 3Pin XLR female sockets.
Will this cable do the trick? http://www.lunashops.com/goods.php?id=5241
My experience with this shop was not pleasant at all - placed and paid the order, which they never shipped, have to strike via Paypal. Others might be more lucky with them...)

They are ok, but painfully slow. On average, expect 30 days of waiting.

I may be parting ways with a mint dx200.

My experience was 40 days. They must use the most tight arse cheapskate postal service possible. I was about to get in contact with PayPal when it turned up.They are ok, but painfully slow. On average, expect 30 days of waiting.
I might want to get a balanced to 2x3pin XLR cable in the future but I don't know if I can trust them. Does anyone know of anyone else who sells similar products that don't cost a bomb?

I have been using the AMP2 a lot with the DX200 lately. I find it very musical, natural sounding and transparent. In some areas it nudges ahead of my WM1Z, which is a disappointment because of how much I paid for the 1Z. What I am really curious about is the new balanced amp coming out that is high voltage and high current. That may really reveal all of what the DX200 is about.

Why? Found something you like more? Just curious, if so, about what it might be.I may be parting ways with a mint dx200.

Moving away from my mobile set up into something a bit more headphone centric. The dx200 is still the king of DAPs in my mind, honestly.

I listened AMP2 for 2 days, and I'd rather call its sound beautiful, very involving. Return to balanced AMP1 output produced a feeling that I miss something. But I like CB13 cable as much, and it's not handy to carry it with an adapter, at least with one that I have, in my every day use.I have been using the AMP2 a lot with the DX200 lately. After comparing between AMP1 and AMP2 for a while, I find AMP1 being more quiet and has better live sounding performance than AMP2. The musicality and richful midrange of AMP2 is hard to miss but modifying AMP1 for better midrange and musicality is possible. Making AMP2 being more quiet with less noise than AMP1 is harder if not impossible.

Also, for $50 you can get Effect Audio right angled 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter: https://www.effectaudio.com/earphon...rashort-right-angled-adaptor-2-5mm-3-5mm.html - I have been using this one with DX200/amp2 and all my balanced terminated cables and the adapter is great! Also, for $25 Penon sells a very nice bal to se adapter (with a short 6-conductor cable, the same material as CB12).
Or you can wait for AMP3
