Pro Studio generally has a good reputation. I still find it annoying that they inflate the 'list price' to $1,199 in order to make their price ($919) seem like a bargain, when it's actually $50 more than the listed MSRP ($869) and the price direct from iBasso.

Feels ... slimy

Not defending them, but they charge extra $50 because they include usb charger, audio interconnect cable, and optical interconnect cable bundled with a stock DX200. Is it worth extra $50? That short optical cable is sold separately for $20+. Plus, it's available Prime with a fast shipping, so amazon has some advantage, including return back to US distributor if something doesn't work. Otherwise, save yourself money and buy directly from iBasso.

ProStudio on amazon is iBasso's official US distributor. You can also buy it directly from iBasso, their website.

Thanks twister. By the way, I've noticed one issue with your dx200 review. In pair-ups, you mentioned Campfire Vega's wasn't a good match. In Vega's review, you mentioned dx200 was an excellent pair up. I initially went by your review so it may be confusing to others.

You are actually not the first one who pointed this to me :) I got quite a few questions about Vega pair up with DX200. DX200 review was written before Vega review, and in between I went though a few changes with eartips and cables. In Vega review I switched to use SPC litz balanced (so balanced connection to the dap), but the biggest change was switching from Spinfits to another off-brand silicone pair eartips. Actually, in my Vega review I do have an older picture with spinfits, but for some reason they created a problem which affected low end. My earcanal has a sharp turn which pinches the bore of spinfits, and also spinfits (the largest size I used) created an overly tight seal. I know, this is a bit off topic, but I want to say it again, Vega sound is very eartip dependent. So, the final verdict - great pair up with DX200, but play around with eartips :D

Wait for your modded rom. ^^
It will take some time: for DX80, it take minutes and a quick survival test, for DX200 it requires several hours and thorough tests, because of changes in Android. But the process already has been started...
