DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***

Thanks, yeah I think probably will stick with AMP1 for now. Dont get me wrong, AMP1 sounds pretty awesome as is but I may want a change of scenery by changing the different AMPs of the DX200. What ever it is, the LAB01s will be the constant and everything else (DAPs, Amps, Cables) will either changed, moved or shifted to something else.

You are not the only one. I also stick with AMP1 just because I really love how reference sound it is.

okay ive tried neutron player and used with the USB Audio app (im using lurker's latest firmware) and all songs had non stop skipping. If I turned USB Audio off it worked fine. Maybe there is a setting that I had not turned off? Any ideas.

p.s. anyone can chime in on the digital filters the DX200 offers? I like brick wall filter as I think (with the LAB01s) it made the whole tonality more neutral and airy. What do you good ppl use and why?

I don't hear any difference, but probably because I'm not using the right instruments, I will try again with the IT04 when they will be available

hahah dont get me wrong, the changes are minor but I can hear it. The stock filter (the 4th one down the list) was making the tonality a bit thick on the LAB01s but was good with my 1p2. I found the last filter (brick wall) was excellent the LAB01. Im a happy chappy now weeeeeeeee

Either you use USB Audio and Neutron's Direct USB driver, or Neutron's Generic driver and no USB Audio. The latter is better.

BTW 2.7.188L1 with support for native DSD playback in the newest Neutron will be out very soon.

Please try a factory reset.

Done it. Something is definitely wrong. Amp/headphone out doesn't work anymore and volume only goes from 0 directly to 150 as it does for optical out (although it's not connected). So it looks like it is as you said, something in the optical out is stuck that it still thinks it's connected.
Is it fixable?

Thanks

Got my AMP2 and AMP3 modules recently. Currently running the AMP2 module and liking it a lot so far. Will try AMP3 after that.

Quite a leap from the stock AMP1 unit to my ears. I don't know what magic IBasso have put into these little amp units, but colour me impressed.

As it was said already, Neutron 1.98.1 is out, with support of Native DSD playback, up to DSD512. Because I've replaced some Android audio (and not only) parts with my own versions, I have to release 2.7.188-L1 with additional support for Neutron. In addition:
  • Bug fix in USB Audio, related to its implementation of USB DAC mode: it was affected by Smart release of wakelock timeout.
  • Better support for devices with XMOS firmware 1.20 (VID_20B1/PID_0008 in USB DAC mode).

I have upgraded to L1 and I cannot use DX200 as USB DAC to play music from PC.
When I choose USB DAC from the USB Audio app menu to the right nothing happens.
It used to work fine with L0.
I can turn on USB DAC from Mango App just fine.
USB Audio app version is 1.2.62

Sorry, my bad! Removing a feature that I decided not to publish at the last minute, had broken USB DAC, and didn't check :frowning2:
USB Audio app version is 1.2.62
I just re-uploaded a fix, with USB Audio 1.2.63. Checked, and USB DAC is working now. Sorry for the trouble!

It was only 7 downloads before I revoked the previous build, so it should not be a big problem.

Yes! The new L1 with 1.2.63 fixes it. Thank you!
