Bad recording
Oh really? Maybe that's why it only happens in some songs.
Hope it is just bad record as you said.
Thanks!

I have the T-Peos Altone 200's and love them. Just bought a pair of DUNU 2000J's. Hoping for a mid boost to the vocals and even more of that awesome dynamic driver bass texture.

I think sometims a torn diaphragm or loose housing can cause that sound, but it could also be in the recording (esp since you mention it increases with EQ). You could try using a test recording, tone generator or a bass synth to see if the problem reproduces plenty of those via web search. could be your hardware as well if another headphone with good low-end response reproduces the same problem- are you using the bass rings too, with the eq boost you mention could be causing some kinda driver flex or something?

Over time...sure. That's the main reason I returned my DN2000Js...just didn't want to risk it because of how much flex I was getting putting them in and out all of the time.

The only time I get flex is if using the bass rings. No flex at all if you don't use them (in my case anyway)

If I pull my ear and gently slide this in usually there is no problem...
However put those bass ring, I get driver flex 60-70% of time even if I insert with care.
Now I am thinking of not using bass ring.
