The F series are great sounding WALKMAN. I have the F806 which also pairs great with DN-1000. I didn't think I'd be pleased coming from the hisound units, but was highly surprised so I can understand your little Impression. You'd be hearing some very decent sound quality with that combination.

I find my F806 sounds better than any Cowon model I've tried, especially with the Dunu. I still rate the Sansa Clip Zip and Dunu DN-1000 though. I use that player as choice with my Dunu over many others. If you can find one for refurb price (About $28) I deeply recommend giving one a try, see what you think next to the Sony. You may find yourself terribly surprised.

I really couldn't tell you sorry, I know amazon have them for about $244

Maybe I would "upgrade" to DN-1000 from GR07BE, but first I need a DAC, cuz my integrated sound card is so poor. :S
I found two:
 
Musiland 01 Mini 52USD
HiFimeDIY Sabre U2 Asynchronous USB DAC   57USD
But I read that Sabre has impedence >200 Ohm, and elswhere that high impedance is not good match for DUNU.
What do you think, should I go for the Musiland Mini? I appreciate any other suggestion! .

BA200 is more neutral with slightly better mids. Dunu wins in bass depth and soundstage. I have both and think they compliment each other very well.

Absolutely. U2 powers the DN1000 easily.

And the BE had better micro details but the DN1k has deeper bass and better soundstage.

For the price of BA200, have a look at Dunu DN-900 which is a superb mid-centric hybrid, and I think it is better than BA200 in every way

Did you guys notice that ljokerl updated his massive table with DN1K? The score is surprisingly low, 9.2. I own some IEMs he also scored similarly (eg. GR01 is 9.2, R-50 is 9.1) and heard others (eg. Brainwavz B2 - 9.2) and kind of do not understand. These are all dual armatures with very little, near-to-no bass (GR01, B2). B2 is heavily sibilant. I can see that he is no bass-head and may not like V-shaped (is this really the case with DN1K?) but no-bass sound of some dual armatures he scores 9.2 aren't neutral either.

I would personally rate them 9.3 or 9.4 having heard and owned many TWFKs he rates 9.1/9.2.
