Hi I've been looking around the forums for some headphones that are focused on dubstep/electronic type music and I've come across the Ultrasone Pro 750, they seem pretty good, but before i make any decision, I'd like to hear your input. My budget is $300, I would like over ear, good looking, not too bulky, and i loove bass.

Thanks in advance,

Combining dub step and d&b is little harder, differences are in terms of driver ability to go real low, still be fast (d&b) and be emphasized in bass region. As ultrsone owner I can tell that they have everything that bass heavy genre needs + speed, so my vote goes for ultrasone.

Regardless of headphone, I would suggest cheap amp to give bass authority, something like FiiO.

This is not a realistic comparo man..
This is a write up of a MDR-XB lover who actually spits on Pro 900.
A car stereo with two 10'' subs in the trunk??

Isn't that obvious that he is trying to praise XB1000?

He actually owns both headphones.

Just because his opinion differs from yours is no reason to discount his findings.

Heya,

Spend $50 and get the XB500, equalize the mids/highs up a few dB and you have a great bassy headphone to give you a taste.

Want to go refined and take it to the ceiling for your budget? Ultrasone Pro 900.

Very best,
