DT880-250 Setup for Gaming/Some Music/Movies

NFB-12 is far better, spec wise.

E7's DAC is a single WM8740, while the NFB-12 uses dual WM8741 chips. As far as the amping, NFB-12's power output capability is double the E9's output.

Then, the NFB-12 has better connection options and much better versatility in general.

It competes with $500+ DAC/amp units.

I love the little dot. Also, the E7/E9 combo is incredible. The E7 alone was great, but now that the E9 is a dedicated desktop amp, capable of driving 600 ohm headphones and the E7 is a dedicated DAC, you can't go wrong. Fiio is often praised on here for great mobile, and now stationary amps.

I am going to post on here as well. I am thinking about grabbing the NFB 12 as well. If I want to watch movies with my DT880 Pro's do I need to get a good sound card? Would the Xonar DG+ NFB 12 be a good combo for both music and movies?
