There is no right or left earpieces, each can go any side, marking's on the cables.

Is there any JVC FDX1 owner with AZLA Sedna short/normal tips here? Would you mind to compare them against the Spiral Dot + on FDX1? I have the normal AZLA (black) and the normal Spiral Dot, but I do find the Azla handles better the dynamics since the spiral dots kinda blurry it a bit so just wondering if the effect will be similar on FDX1.

I got one some weeks ago but it's stuck in CA warehouse. :/

Does anyone have both the JVC FDX1 and the Tanchjim Oxygen? I’m very curious how they compare, particularly regarding resolution and presentation of fine details.

I own the FDX1, and I'm getting a used Oxygen at some point in the coming week, so I'll leave some notes after I have some time with the Oxygen.

Great! I’d also be interested in getting your thoughts on how the Oxygen compares to your Etymotic ER2XR as well. I definitely like single DD IEMs.

Couldn't agree more. It took me about 3 full days of use to figure out how to actually wear them comfortably...then once I heard the sound the way it was supposed to be coming through, I bit the bullet and picked up custom tips. No ergonomics issues anymore and they sound consistent every time. I did find personally that these are way easier to get the fit right with while wearing cable down.

Could you please post a couple of pictures of the iems with the custom tips, if it's not too much trouble ?

I'd love to see how deep they are encapsulated.

I'm certainly considering doing the same, but to wear them over ear. I'm addicted to how they sound with the Dunu Hulk.

Also using CP145 by the way (the slightly modded ones provided with the DK-4001), with a shallow seal. And settled on the half-filled nozzle.

Arianna Savall's crystalline voice is beautiful on this little setup :

Not GP but I use them with custom tips. Works wonderful.

Thanks ! GP meaning ? ^_^;

Not rejecting the idea to also have simple custom tips. These were made by whom ? Custom Art ?

If I'm quoting your post, you're the parent. GP=grandparent.

Yeah, from Custom Art. I'm from a neighbour country so it's kinda obvious choice. But I totally recommend getting the customs. Good thing is that you can swap them to another IEMs, provided they have similarly wide nozzles.

@lafeuill sure. Here's a visual for how they're covered. Still full rotation ability and comfort.

Excellent, thanks a lot !

Amazed that the BT20 / UTWS1 have enough juice for the FDX1. They're so power hungry :smile:
