Not in between apartments - have a house. I could be listening to my system while I await my move out of town, actually. But with many projects going on, I'd rather have nearly everything ready-to-go at a moments notice

Diplomat style. For now, the iPod works!

Can't predict the future

, maybe resurrection will take place September. Meanwhile, I have some TS-BGRP's coming up for sale!

You mean for the Glass? I haven't listed them as of yet - holding private screenings and checking interest. Should you be interested, send me a PM and I'll return with photos, measurements and price... thanks.

Hi All

Not sure if this has been mentioned or asked but I would like to know whether DAC2 USB input does draw power as well as data from the USB cable that is plugged in my Mac.

Thx
DD

From my understanding, no. I could be wrong. But the DAC-2 has its own power for the USB receiving unit. If one were to use a data only USB cable from the Mac all would be fine.

Just received my DAC2 DSD, and so far I am surprise by the improvement on the clarity, sound stage and precision (on the all spectrum) compare to my old DAC (Audio GD NFC3.33)

More impression to come :) Specially on the DSD function...

I have contacted W4S and Clint advised that DAC2 USB does not draw power. However if I have upgraded to DSD specs (which I have) it does draw some power.

Anyway I too experienced material leap in quaiity after DSD upgrade on normal 44.1k materials upsampled or non-upsampled. Money well spent!

I would really like someone to do an A/B on the full vs DSD upgrade.  Does the DSD upgrade include the upgraded fuse from the full?

Currently streaming native DSD to my DSDse from the W4S music server. Very, Very nice!

The SE also includes some PSU and cap upgrades.

I got the SE upgrade, and like the improved USB. The sound is noticeably improved. Have not tried DSD yet.
