Does anyone collect vintage cans?

I personally didn't enjoyed Monitor 10 - I had vintage closed Aiwa HP-EX200 and they were in every matter better than Pioneer.
I only regret selling K240 Monitor and will probably get them again in the future.

I'd love to have some nice ortos, also

My BeyerDynamic DT150 looks vintage, but still can be bought new.
I love vintage gear, have an old record player, cassette deck and amp.

More than a year later, all my headphones are vintage:
-Beyerdynamic DT880 600 ohm, from the eighties
-AKG K270 Playback
-Philips N6330 (aka a Sextett)
-MB Quart Phone 90X.
Love them!

And I just bought a 20 year old CD player

I don't really understand, my old Monitor 10 just does something to me. Its only flaw is its bass but even that has its charm.

MDR V7...

I'd say the AKG's K141 and K240 are a must for a Vintage collector.

Plus the first closed stereo headphone, the DT48 in 1937, & the first open stereo headphone, the Sen 414, in 68 I believe.. The grand father & grand mother of dynamic headphones..

Luckily not!
Almost got to that point some 3 years back, but managed to cut down.
