One product that I do like and even recommended was the Pearl Cooler's. There's two 9 pin versions' now where there used to be just one. Sorry I don't remember which one you need. Oops... sorry, this one is a 2018 also, with round glass. Just broken in really. My amp needed some repairs, so it's been stored away.

I tried the Herbie dampers (the expensive one, I guess?) and it has reduced the hum to *almost* zero.

The correct cooler is the mcf-9. Tube life is lengthened, increased clarity and focus.

I am on the waiting list for a stellaris. Super stoked!! Definitely my end tier amp and hopefully last amp upgrade for the rest of my life!!

I’m going to be unloading my Stratus soon here so if anybody’s really interested in buying one hit me up, I’m selling a few things and whatever sells first that gets me to a certain amount I need currently I’ll be keeping the rest.

My Stratus is a new one with audio note transformers, is in excellent condition and I’m in the PNW area. Dibs to anybody that’s local or is in a day trip from here.

Congrats! The wait is pretty brutal, but so worth it. The Stratus is my favorite amp by a pretty large margin. Nice rectifier! which one is that? i'm running an EML and RCA NOS. The EML has a bolder, more dynamic signature, but i actually like the more organic and well blended sound from the RCA.

Looks like an Elrog 5u4g. I have the EML and Mullard GZ37. I like the Elrogs because it has a little better dynamics than the EML. The Mullard GZ37 has a warm lush sound I like very much. Have a WE422a which sounded the best but it keeps blowing out my fuse which is strange so trying to see if the tube is bad.

Did you get the 422A/5U4G switch on yours? If not, that could be the reason for the fuse blow. It can be ordered with the switch but you will need to specify which indirectly heated rectifier configuration: GZ34/GZ37 (cathode pin 8) or 422A (cathode pin 2).

Mine has never blown a fuse with the 422a. Just sayin.

Did you get the 422A/5U4G switch on yours? If not, that could be the reason for the fuse blow. It can be ordered with the switch but you will need to specify which indirectly heated rectifier configuration: GZ34/GZ37 (cathode pin 8) or 422A (cathode pin 2).

You can also get an adapter for it too. I had @Deyan make me one awhile back and his prices are very fair.

Yeah, Donald was surprised the 422a blew a fuse as well (3 actually) and he thought it might be a bad tube. Got a tube tester this week so I’ll see if it is the tube otherwise may have to look into an adapter or switch alternative.

Never mind the deal fell through. Maybe for the best.
How about some dac's under $3000 that make beautiful music with the Stratus?

The above post brought me bad luck. I'm posting in desperation fellow Stratus owners. I bought a Rockna Wavelight dac only to find it doesn't pair well with the dna amp's. Except maybe the Stellaris. If any of you wavelight owners have a fix please contact me.
