Information is very scarce at this time and if anyone knows more I hope they would post. It looks like they are already available for purchase in China. Grant Fidelity moved their date from the 10th to tomorrow, the 15th. They will be re-testing before shipping.

Mine is the Riccardo Kron limited edition version. Very nice tube. Clarity and naturalness of my U52 but with more fullness and bass like EML 5U4G. I'm sure I don't have the full burn in hours, however, so if it is going to get better that will be bonus.

The only thing I don't like is the print on the tube face's to the Stratus' rear. If it were possible to remove the top screw's and turn the socket around then it would be perfect.

That photo really doesn't do it justice. The tube actually look's Ok. Just takes some time getting used to.

Yes, this is with the HD800's. I hate to post to early but it strikes me as a really good pairing.

Congrats! The KR reminds me of several different rectifier's rolled into one. I will be happy if I can get a long life with it. The thought of not having to replace rectifier's strikes me as a good reason to spend a little more. Plus, shipping is included in the price.

I have spent a delightful morning with my Sylvania Stratus and my HD 600s w/ Toxic Silver poison cable. I am unboxing the KR RK 5U4G and addiing it to the mix to get it some break in time

The KR sounds nice right out of the box. Stratus actually sounds better with new KR than NOS Sylvania 5U4G. Postman just brought me a very nice NOS pair of matched early 1940s RCA black plate 2A3s.
