Could someone tell which Headband that is?

Thanks for the tip, but I don't like the aesthetic at all, the buttons on the other hand match the Abyss Diana's industrial design. Thanks anywayNot sure but have seen this one.

It’s just a cover. I use the pad that goes on the headband. So it keeps the stock look.
And mine just a question about the right headband
Which third-party balanced XLR cable can you recommend for the Abyss Diana V2 that offers a similar tonality or a slightly warmer tonality than the cable which came with the abyss. Or is it possible to use an adapter like "VXLR Pro Trafosymmetric 3,5-mm-TRS-to-XLR-Adapter" to have the banefits of balanced. Or do i have to buy a Balanced cable?

I wouldn't recommend going from SE to Balanced with an adapter, it could cause problems depending on the gear.
For very slightly brighter and more detail forward cables: https://www.lavricables.com/cables/grand-silver-hifiman-susvara-he1000-edition-x-upgrade-cable/
For warmer copper cables: https://www.portentoaudio.it/en/prodotto/performer-headphones-cable/
Both companies are located in EU, so no worries about import duties and customs to Germany.
A XLR terminated cable will only matter if you're using an amplifier that is truly balanced.
Has anyone tried DMS/Diana pads with the Diana TC.
Wondering what the sonic impact is compared to the V2 non perforated pads.

Funny you're asking today. With the new pads, you actually have the opportunity to change the sound extremely, because depending on the alignment of the pads, you either get a very open, very detailed, but distanced sound or one that is more centered and, above all, shows what the bass can do! I can only warmly recommend the pads if you had the other V2 pads. It makes a big difference

My adventure wirh the Dianas got even crazier recently.
As some of you here know, I have been a fan of the Diana Phi for a while now. And recently I (re)acquired a custom red unit that was fitted with a TC driver, making it a Phi/TC hybrid. The main difference is the size of the holes in the housing.
Sound comparisons to the Diana Phi:
- The hybrid needs more power and sounds more open. The stage is bigger.
- Bass is more sub bass focused, it's also a bit faster. Diana Phi has a bit more mid bass.
- Vocals are clearly more recessed on the hybrid. Not as recessed as the actual TC but the Phi is clearly warmer. Vocals are more "emotional".
- treble seems to extend further on the hybrid and seemed a touch more refined.
Note that the above comps were all done with Diana Phi pads. I am still looking for some V2 pads to test how they change sound (probably more bass).
In short, the hybrid doesn't have the warmth of the Phi anymore but is technically slightly ahead. Both headphones are amazing and are different enough to shine with different types of music.

Congratulations on two almost identical headphones, but it confirms me not to exchange my Diana V1 with the new 2021 pads for a V2.

I happily moved onto the Phi (latest iteration) after owning the V2 (perforated pads) for a year. Wider staging and deeper lows.
I bet the TC is a nice upgrade to the Phi but knowing how many revisions happen Id rather get it in the future.

TC comes from the 1266 driver its a whole other story than the Diana V1,2 and Phi lineI happily moved onto the Phi (latest iteration) after owning the V2 (perforated pads) for a year. Wider staging and deeper lows.

The V2 is its own thing compared to Diana Phi which is the same transducer material in the 1266 PhiTC comes from the 1266 driver its a whole other story than the Diana V1,2 and Phi line
Ive heard some prefer the more V shaped 1266 Phi vs the 1266 TC but from the descriptions Ive read the 1266 TC is amazing so presumably the Diana TC follows.
