I am starting to appreciate DTR1+ more and more, it should be related related to burning in, the bass somehow became savage, so much control and punch, well Anson did say earlier that bass is going to improve, it is like I am listening different IEM's right now. At first I appreciated how it performed with my headphones which is not my primary source of music and with my IEM's it was sort of alright, sure there were improvements but I expected more and now I am getting it Who knows maybe the firmware update also has some effect.

I have received the unit as well. The sound performance is excellent once again.

It retains the overall character of the DTR1 but refines it with a slight musical touch and a tad better sound-stage. So when it comes to being an all-rounder DAP, the DTR1+ is better and it plays well with many IEMs in my possesion. That wasn't the case with the DTR1.

Finally got my unit back everything is working great, got 1.2 firmware installed. Also Anson put me a gift which is a case for it, that older one originally made for DTR1, at first it was tight and I had to push the player pretty hard and could not close the lid properly but now it wore out and everything is fine. At first this case looked strange to me with that lid but now I actually kind of like it, the lid protects the screen so you don't need to install any protection for it, also when you open the lid you can appreciate the design of the player since it partially covered, also the volume and power buttons are easily accessible. The case is nicely made and feels premium, in real life it looks and feels much nicer than in pictures, the only downside that memory card is not accessible and you have to take the player out, but otherwise it is actually great and you feel that your device is protected, no need to worry about the screen. So thank you Anson for a pleasant gift!

congrats! use same as mine, I wish the square hole fits better the up button.
