Iematch works wonderful if you have a high OI or too powerful an output that causes sensitive IEMs to pick up noise floor.
But....not ideal as you're adding resistance to the circuit and it's another link in the chain to affect sound quality potentially. Cumbersome as well? I've lived with iematch on the hiby r6 for a long while and tired of that quickly.
Use if needed, but on portable gear that's designed properly for use with sensitive IEMs you really shouldn't require one.
When it comes to IEMs: I'll take my silent low OI plenue2 without iematch over any totl dap with iematch. That's a fact.
