Dethonray Dtr1 Prelude high resolution player

Also love mine. Great tonal balance, slightly warm with great detail and strong bass.

It’s also not terribly out of its league driving my low sensitivity planar (DCA Stealth). Which makes me wonder — are you sure that’s the power output? Seems low…
The data is directly from Anson. I also asked him if it is right but got no reply yet. LE also drives my Subtonic STORM really well.

Compact, detailed, warm, powerful explosiveness! Only one outdated AKM4490, BLACK MAGIC INSIDE. :yum:

Hey Man. Please stop showing off, I am on a business trip and my 1+LE is waiting for me at home! lol
What's the IEM? Planar or dynamic units?
Haha. My bad.

The single dynamic driver iem is the 634 ears LOAK-Prototype01 LP01 stainless steel iem. It’s their flagship series of iems.

And so far, all the 634 ears iems I own (5 of them), seemed to have levelled up with the DTR1+LE. It’s like they were made for this player.

Now wrap up that business trip soon and give the DTR1+LE some love. Where’s your priorities? :L3000:

Thought my post in the other thread is relevant here as well.

The Dethonray Prelude series of daps are among the very best, non Android solutions available and incredible value for their asking prices.

The latest and final Prelude, the DTR1+ Limited Edition, has perhaps the most luxurious built quality for a dap of its footprint. Stainless steel, buttons are firm to the press, the 3.5mm headphone jack has a grip that handles cable inputs confidently.

The sound, rich and balanced, with a very tinge of warmth. A very present and authoritative low end that doesn’t sound boosted, a midrange that makes vocals sounding very welcoming and instruments come alive. Its highs soar without becoming unbearable. It all comes together like a good desktop setup.

You have used up all the beautiful words, and all I can do is show photos! Anson gave me a surprise! I changed to gold, but what he sent to me is still in silver! haha.
