Denon D7100?!

Well i cetainly don't know better than anyone else but to me it seems such a radical shift in design should be marked as "next-gen" model a-la HD800 vs. HD650
than just name it as "D7100". Though looking at it more closely the construction soes seem solid, espcially for the more steamlined, Beats-esque, white design... the In-ear also is rather beliveable, in a space-fi kind of way.

How do we know this is a prank?

I was just taking a quick a look at the TH-900's for the first time. On the onset, it seems very much like the D7000. Closed cups, same head band system, driver specs identical save for sensitivity. A potential limited refined improvement for triple the price. Fostex must have just got the memo that people are willing to part with 2 grand plus for the new flagship on the block.

Even if these aren't real, Denon is completely revamping their D-series lineup; with the partial exception being that they might keep the AH-D2000 model. AH-D5000 AND AH-D7000 have been discontinued.

Curious how it sounds with the acoustics (nightmare) of the oddly shaped pads and housing if this is indeed real.

I wonder why no one has mentioned that it's April 1st, aka "April Fool's Day".

Several people have. Did you read the thread?

Why, that's a very elaborate april fool day's prank.

This all the way.

Hoping this'll sound wayy better than it looks if it isn't a bad april fools' joke.

This is hilarious!

Good one!

No way this is real. Unless Dr.Dre is holding Denon at gun point then I doubt these are real.

Good one.

Flagship? I think not., especially on April 1st.

+1. Not sure if this is the real deal. Doubt it
