I've never had much a problem with buy.com.  Likewise, I've never heard of fake Denons flying around.

buy sometimes sells through a 3rd party reseller like amazon does, check the webpage to see who is the actual seller. if its buy.com its ok.

For all headfiers in Europe this should be a great deal.

I also got my D5000 for 400 dollars, though it was from Electronics Expo.  It should be safe, and for that price the D5000 is an incredible headphone.

You can get AH-D7000 for $625 from JR Audio. Some people bought it close to $500 range + $15 shipping.
So, just another one for you to consider.
 
But here in Canada, the cheapest that I found for D7000 was $699 including tax from local retail store.

Was checking out the d-5000 in Montreal they were going for $800.00 imagine so i was checking on amazon and came across b&h in New York they came up to $538.00 to my door .that was back in June now they got the D-7000 on sale for around $730.00 those go for $1200.00 in Montreal there nuts. On top of that you have a hard time listening to high end stuff . Thank God for Internet .
