tried 2 of dekoni pads and all are just not doing what the stock pads do

this sucks royally, as I love to always have spare pads for gears I adore, anyway i am taking lots of care of my denon to keep them mint, as I know there is no way to get new stock original pads
I really like the D9200 stock pads, and I doubt that there are better pads. I'm looking to get a set for my Ebony as I don't like the way the stock Ebony pads fits around my ears.

is the inner ear opining same size as stock pads, did those pads make the tuning of 9200 different

Inner cups seems the same:

But the distance from the driver to the ear is higher than stock pads:

Also as you can see I've added some padding to the top of the headband.
The sound is identical as stock pads to my ears.

Hello Guys!
I currently own the Denon AH-D9200 in combination with the Marantz HD-DAC1. Initially I feld the headphone was a little to bright sounding, but now that they have burned-in a litte more they somehow sound a little more relaxed (or I got used to its sound lol). Has someone compared the Denon 9200 to the Aeon 2 Closed? I really like the sound of the Meze Empyrean in some songs and maybe the A2C can deliver a similar experience in vocal performance (I favour closed headphones and sold my Focal Clear for that reason, as it is a open-back).

These has really grown on me after I got into hiphop music lately. I can't listen to anything else for hiphop. It's just perfect for hiphop, the bass is so much fun! Definately an improment over Fostex Ebony.

I've noticed improvement when I switched to usb for my Hugo 2 out of Mac mini. So, I think using a Mac improves the sound, sounding more detailed and precise. I've been listening to a lot of hiphop lately due to this headphone.
