So I'm three folks away from the TH600's so maybe a couple of weeks or so.
This should be interesting. I just an hour ago got my D7000's back from Mark Lawton - had him do the full treatment (damping and angle pads install) and holy shnikies (is that a word?) what a hellacious difference from stock! Incredible basshead phone with detail, great highs and soundstage. I am impressed beyond what I expected.
Anyone have doubts whether you should spend the $99, don't. You have to experience it to believe it.
Yeah I got the tune and angle pads for my d7k to see what the fuss was about. It really improved the headphone but the angle pads were quite stiff at first. I would still say I like the th-600 better but to a lesser extent after the tune and pads. Is mark having a sale or something? I thought it was $198 for tune and pads.
these cabledyne powercords i installed recently, is giving my d7k bigger clearer deeper soundstage...
doesnt feel like a "closed" can to me.
Listening to soundtracks like THE LAST SAMURAI, is such a treat....
totally suckkkked into the forest...waiting for the charging samurai to appear,
or taken up to flight in AVATAR, whew.
if u are looking for a sound upgrade, check these out k.
Yes, and it's working wonderfully! The Ear+ is a great tube amp, especially as it works so well with low-impedance 'phones too. The MAD amps are reportedly great with Grados (of course I sold my RS1 before buying the Ear+, silly me) but I'd say that pairing one with a Denon is just as great.
