Brave words, hope you don't say that to paying customers. In most cases you need to pay for customs clearance and VAT. From June there will be no minimum exempt value.

So you do dispatch from BY then? Don't take me wrong, it's absolutely fine, just want to make sure.

lol that's really good to hear, I feel like I'm most likely in the same camp too then. Hopefully we'll get a response from him soon!

Otherwise here are my experience with some headphones (some are mine some are friend's some are store demo):

TH-X00 / D2000 - Fit with 1 extra clicks to spare, so almost maxed out.
HD650 - Fits.
HD800 - Fits.
Meze 99 Classic - Band will not stretch far enough.
HE400S - My head will hit the metal band and still don't have enough room.
Bose - Fits at almost max extension.
M50X - Don't remember but fit at close to max.
Beyer DT880 - Max extension could still clip bottom of my ear.
AD900X - It would be / \ this shape because my head is too wide.
Grado - Same problem / \ this shape.
MDR1AM2 - Would fit at max extension.
Master and Dynamic MH40 - No chance.

In general MOST headphone will fit at max extension, some will not fit even at max, and some will fit poorly / bad angle depending on hinge system (AD900X).

I'm having problems with headbands all the time. My most recent bad experience was with the Airpods Max, stunning sound for a Bluetooth HP but unfortunately I had to return them after just one day of use, the problem: the headband's fit pressing the top of my head.

I've tried some and the most comfortable ones are in order: 1. ATH AP2000ti 2. Fostex TH900. 3. ATH WP900 4. Sony's Z1R.

My most frustrated experience was with Denon's 9200 which in my opinion have the best all around sound for the price but unfortunately I couldn't wear them for more than 15 minutes, even having them full extended.

Like you, I use the headband extended to a maximum so if you need some detailed advice just shoot on a pm.

Finally, those M&D were a nightmare not only on the headband but on the cups.

Good luck finding comfort.!

Is it worth having the dt5200 and 7200? Or are they too similair sounding? Firstly,i live in europe (norway).I got the 5200.But the box was open and headphones where used ( i saw some little scratches). The hifi shop said they where sorry and it was an returned item from an customer.I paid full price.875 us dollars. But since they had done wrong,i could get it for 660 dollars. But i said i wanted the 7200s instead. They are not in stock. They will arrive maybe in the end of june ( denon have problems due to covid 19 they told ).I have the denon 5200 in the box in my closet. They said i could returned it when the 7200 arrive the shop.Im tempted to keep the 5200 and still buy the 7200.But my wallet says NOOOO :p

I don't know where in Europe you live, but those prices are daylight robbery. I got my open box D5200 for 300€ and it was unused.

and for your question - it makes absolutely no sense to have both 5200 and 7200. But in this hobby sense sometimes takes the back seat.
I live in norway.Yes,i thougth it was a little expensive for an used item. The seller said that they couldnt go lower.

Hmmm I'll agree considering the price you could almost buy brand new straight from Japan Amazon. Though I don't know how much things cost in Norway so I could be wrong too. But does seem a bit expensive.

As for sound signature, all 3 have their own signature. I'll roughly illustrate the differences based from what I read (I don't own any of them).

D5200
Treble - 3
Mid - 3
Bass - 3

D7200
Treble - 2
Mid - 3
Bass - 4

D9200
Treble - 4
Mid - 4
Bass - 3

Keep in mind this is more like a relative to each other type of deal and in terms of quantity.

So it might still be worth it to try D5200 vs D7200 depending on your preference but you probably don't need both. But you could definitely like one over the other or vice versa based on what you like.

Tnx for reply. Both D5200 and D7200 are expensive here. And they have increased in price.Might take the 5200 out of the box and give it an try 😊 I also have the modhouse argon t50rp mk3.But since i got them last fall,i have mainly used them for movies/tv series.Since they are hard to drive, they are not that portable.

Yeah T50RP people recommend Emotiva BasX A-100 to drive them ideally (8W) but you could probably get away with less, but definitely need an amp.

Where as D5200 will run on anything and should sound fairly balanced. Give it a go you might like it enough to keep it lol.

Greetings from Alaska to Norway. Just my 2 cents, you might have a go locating the D5000 or D7000. The pair I had (5000), was magnificent in sound, easy to drive and well worth the $350-400 US. They are becoming increasingly more difficult to procure but definitely worth the search. A bit
less of an expense than the 5200 and a bargain for the sound you get. I saw a nice pair of the 7000 for under $700 US. That is a bargain...Just my opinion and a few facts...
Cheers
