I really wanna put together on of these DIY amps, but I'd end up sitting on the kit for months before could put any appreciable amount of time into it.  Hopefully your build goes/is going smoothly.

Ah, I'd definitely be interested in listening to the Oppo on the  Lyr 2.  I really liked the PM-1 and PM-2 at Capitol Audiofest.
