Mr. Dan Clark, Please let guys at Drop have a take on it. We be happy to spend $1500 for 90% of that.
Hehehehehe...
We had 3 flagship releases back to back, I'm sure the next ones will be in lower segments again.

At least that's what my wallet is hoping for...

I'm hoping for something to top the Stealth. I'm having a hard time listening to anything else and I'm afraid I might get bored with them. I also keep eyeing your Soli P, but I think AMTS may have ruined me. First world problems.

Nah. First we need something close to Stealth to be available at a much affordable price. Only after that we can think of something better. Because what is the point if some one else creates a better headphone but prices it at $6K or some crazy price.

I too would like to see the AMTS trickle down the lineup. But halo products attract more attention. Once the eyes are on your product lineup you have the chance for more sales. And there are plenty of people who can afford the halo models. This is a very niche category and it seems like there is a higher percentage of those who can afford the top of the line.

Are there any companies out there making high quality leather pads for the stealth? I tend not to like the pleather ones.
No, but the surface that contacts the skin is a very high-grade synthetic suede similar to those used on luxury car seats, has a very natural and comfortable feel.

I find the ear pads very comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. No need to replace in my opinion.

Psa for anyone wanting "portable" solution for the Stealth. Testing the M17, and as expected, you can use a portable battery pack to power both it and the fan.

Another good portable choice, beside the Mojo or Hugo is the Topping G5.

I love my G5 with my Stealth! It turned out to be unsuitable for iems due to its susceptibility to EMI/RFI noise but no such problems with the stealth and plenty of juice to make it sound great :)
I even run Susvara off it

I have the Mojo as well, but it seemed a bit underpowered. Not sure about the G5. The M17 in Enhanced over ear mode is quite a revelation compared to the normal over ear mode, I'd almost say I'm as happy with the power as I am with the Oor. It sounds pretty sterile overall, I assume it's the dac section, though THX could also be at fault. Overall I think I might even take the Mojo instead because of it.
The M17 is more detailed than I expected (for a portable) but not a very enjoyable listen overall.
