It's gonna have a tough time against the VC and Stellia at that price point. It needs to be substantially better just to provide reasonable value and those are two great headphones.

Can't wait to get my hands on our incoming office pair. Dan Clark comfort + closed back + flagship performance sounds dreamy.

Back in 2005, any $1800 phones were crazy…hello Sennheiser! And in 2021, the new norm is $4k!!

I can’t wait until 2031!! Probably 40K by then

gotta love the trend and good bye Sennheiser!! (Your price is now newbies) I will see you again when 40k becomes the norm and before that I will hunt down an Orpheous ii to collect

Will there be an open version? Would it even benefit from being open?

It's the typical price for a flagship headphone these days. What's of more interest is it is closed back, and there aren't many TOTL closed headphones out there. Focal Stellia, Kennerton Rognir and ZMF Vereti Closed are the only others that come to mind at this price level. What is the VC?

Fantastic video for what looks like an amazing headphone. To the best of knowledge KEF is the only other company working with meta material in their new LS50 models. Be interesting to hear how this implementation differs from KEF’s?

Verité Closed = VC
