DAC and Amp for HD650

I doubt your portable audio player comes with a digital output, so you can not add an external DAC to it.
So just get the Fiio E11 portable headphone amp. ($65).
 
Get a DD (DAC Destroyer) USB DAC, sells on eBay for around $60
You can connect it between your computer and the E11.

Matrix M-stage, you can take it wherever you go. Not exactly portable but does the job.

I use the ODAC+O2. A very good option if you want a neutral setup.

Ibasso D6 - 3.5mm input for portable sources, a good DAC through USB input for PC, maybe a Samsung SIII.

Plus if you want a powerful (tube) amp later on the 3.5mm input can be used as a line out.
