As someone who once bought a Music Two and had them reshelled, which FIBAE model would be closest in terms of sound? (I'd have assumed the FIBAE 2, but have read it has a bit more bass.)

Customers who had Music Two in the past go for FIBAE2 or FIBAE3. I'd say in my personal opinion F2 would be closer.

For my next CIEM I'm looking for something fairly reference quality but with a good focus on mids (guitars, piano, female vox). I tend not to enjoy V-shaped sound signatures, and had figured that the Harmony 8.2 would be my best bet by far from the current line-up. Do you think that would be the case?

They are great for mid-focused music, but they also have proper extension on both ends.
