Title says it all...

I'm going to get molds made this friday - I currently have a pair of Etymotic HF2s.  As far as I know, the mold will match the headphones that I bring in, but if there anything that's more universal?  I know a mold for the HF2s will fit the ER 4s but nothing else.  My question is basically if I had the molds match something else like a pair of Klipsch for example, could I have more cross brand compatibility if I got bored and wanted to try a new pair or upgrade?

thanks!

I can only confirm the Etymotic Series of IEMs.

HF2, HF3, HF5, and all ER-4 Series will interchange.

Wish I could be more help.

And of course, they're just little acrylic or silicone tips, where only the front and outer edges matter much. You can make the rear hole a bit larger with a drill or something so that they can fit any larger-bore IEMs. Or maybe they stretch a bit?
