I have a question on P1's battery. I know it is poor but my problem is that sometimes it will lose some battery over night even when I turned the player off. Is it normal or it means my battery has some problem? Bought it only two weeks ago...

Sounds familiar...

So this is a common problem? Otherwise I need to replace it...

Well, I live with it. I couldn't swear that it always loses power overnight. But it sure feels like it.

Mine lasts two days of use for sure. 3 to 3.5 hrs a day.

Are you sure it is not just badly calibrated battery meter? Mine lasts a good six hours up to the 50% but then only 3 odd on the rest 50%

Could be... I never dare to use up all my battery (afraid it will die out). Usually mine will reach 50% in one or two hours and then with only a little left after another two hours or some, and usually I would rush to get it charged at that moment...

I setup brightness = 1, the screen is still visible and my P1 can live 2 days :)

Guys, I am highly interested in Plenue "S". Seeing it use the same DAC as the 1, what is the 1 sound like in general ? Thank you
Yep but I only demoed it for 10 minutes.

And what was your impression ? Probably not much, unless you had your memory and gear with you
I have the Plenue M and D and the S sounded similar to the M and P1. I have to redemo the S once more.

Can i inquire why? I am comparing the specs between the P1 and the S, and i do not really see a big difference (actually i do not really see one. Same CPU, same Battery, same DAC. ). So i must be missing something i guess. Not that i plan to switch, i enjoy the sound of the P1, and with HiFi, you can always chase the newest horse and spend more and more money, if you like, as well, but there are limits to my music collection, my hearing and my headphones where I then realize it makes no sense for me :) Advanced age, i need more bass :)

The only reason i would upgrade would be same or better sound with significantly improved battery life.
