I want a GS1000 vs. GS1000i comparison.

And a comparison of all old models to the new ones.

Okay, no more H2H or comparison requests please. It's obvious they'll be posted when they are available. This goes for HD800 vs. PS1000, RS1 vs. RS1i, etc.

All in good fun

I hope you all realize by now that I'm being totally facetious. There have been and hopefully always will be headphone manufacturers who are true to the material they are using. I applaud the design of these headphones and I hope they sound as good as the integrity behind them. My only nitpick is I wish the Left/Right headband adjusters were also metal instead of plastic, like on the HP1000.

Yeah, they are so true to the material that they also use cheapy, aggressive and uncomfortable pad.

Grado should re-engineer their headphones to sound the same, but with velour pads instead of the usual foam. Just add a "v" on the end and we're golden.

As accurately as I remember, using headphile's pads did not change the sound signature of SR225s that much, barely noticeable.

Oh and make them circumaural, then I might be interested in owning one. Won't until it happens.

Headphile's pads are circumaural, converting any Grado's into full-size.

And GS-1000 AND PS-1000 are circumaural (hence full-size) in the first place.
