Hey people,
I am currently owners of 2 headphones
1) 4pin Balanced Akg k701(using stock cable)
2) 4pin Balanced + Dynamat modded Denon D5000(using stock cables)

Source: HP Elitebook 6930p Laptop > Cambridge Audio DacMagic > Little Dot Mark VII+ > Headphones

I am thinking of upgrading my headphones, and considered BeyerDynamic T1, Sennheiser HD800, LCD 2, LA7000 etc,

In the end i cut my search down to either
1) BeyerDynamic T1
2) LA7000 (Lawton Audio modded Denon D7000 if anyone doesn't know)

Which headphones sounds like an upgrade over a combined d5k and k701 ?

Some factors I am looking out for, in no order or preference
: Detail level
: Great low end, quantity/impact/slam too
: Musicality/Fun factor
: An All rounder for most genres
: Great soundstage
: To a certain extent, some "closed" sounding(tending towards la7000 i know)

I intend to cut down such that I am in possession of only 1 headphone

Feel free to post any opinions/suggestions

In the end, I am intending to reterminate them myself with their stock cables to 4pin balanced.

Thank you
