Was about to order the JM04 Pro based off of your reviews but glad I held off (even though it's only less than $20 =P).
Ordered the Xynocyn X1 instead and looking forward to it.

The A&K Pee51, tested above, drew exactly the same power from my android phone (S20) as the W2. It's not quite in the same class as the L&P W2 but a lot of fun and just as hungry!*Reserved*
PS:
I will not be testing L&P W2 because the power requirement is not suitable for USB 2.0 found on most Androind Phones or even iPhones

Samsung S20 is equipped with USB 3.2 which is capable of higher power support. Not many phones uses USB 3.0 let alone 3.2. Perhaps in another 2 years all would be on 3.0 at leastThe A&K Pee51, tested above, drew exactly the same power from my android phone (S20) as the W2. True - well said. My point was rather that the pee51 which you have reviewed (very nicely) also draws a lot of power and is incompatible with iPhones.Samsung S20 is equipped with USB 3.2 which is capable of higher power support. Absolutely hard working. Thank you.

Have to ask, do you burn in at least 50 hrs before evaluating all dongles?

Please please try out the Earmen Sparrow as well

Not up to 50 hours on some. But the majority of them are regularly used and easily have over 50 hours on them when I did my review. But honestly with these dongles being solid state and uses very tiny capacitors (tantalums) , usually the first 4-5 hours of usage will form them nicely. For bigger DAC/Amp which uses bigger electrolytic capacitors I usually use them over 150 hours before making my assessmentHave to ask, do you burn in at least 50 hrs before evaluating all dongles?![]()

Too Bad W2 won't be here. I was told it sucks up 15% back up time in about 60 mins. (from a 5k ma battery). Probably the best sounding, but we won't know for sure...
