Been exploring Mendelssohn music and I like it, the piano music is better than Liszt, his chamber a bit like Beethoven and Haydn. Organ works nice too

His string quartets on Hyperion are excellent.

Here is David Fray. He has been compared to Glenn Gould but I find that he plays with a lot more swing or one could say a groove than Gould did.
I would love to hear him in combination with a chamber orchestra that would truly understand his approach. That would be a combination Enghave Barok and David Fray.... but I don't know it would be possible to combine a modern piano with an orchestra of baroque instruments.
